Lycos Forest (Camp)

Post by Thunder-Paws on June 29th 2018, 12:22 am

★ Description ★
The Lycos Forest is a land set far beyond the influence of the Elemental Kingdoms, and is considered a sanctuary for those desiring to have a fresh start in life. Untouched and abundant with life, it spreads wide enough to support a multitude of territories. Out of them, the most well-known belongs to the Kýklos Prostasía Pack, a group of misfits all of different backgrounds and beliefs. Here in the Lycos, they live in moderate peace and spend most of their time under the lush, beautiful trees. Our camp is settled in a modestly-sized flat clearing of grass and dirt paths, where we sleep and spend the vast majority of our time. Most dens are built into the ground, though there are some very large boulders that offer adequately shaped openings/small caves. Wide, fallen trees may also be used in the making of some areas. Each den typically has a personalized "style" both inside and out, depending on the wolf who owns it. Decorations and markings are very common. For our water source, there is a narrow running stream traveling close by near the camp's edge.

✦ Flora ✦
Pines, spruces, and firs make up the majority of large trees. The forest floor belongs to many mosses, liverworts, and lichens, especially during the spring and summer months.

✦ Fauna ✦
Predators: Wolves, Bears, Fox, Bobcats, Owls, Eagles
Prey: Elk, Moose, Deer, Small Mammals
